Quick answers
How long does installation take?
Most installs run one to two days on site once the unit and materials are staged: pad and placement, the licensed fuel connection, transfer switch coordination, then commissioning and your walkthrough.
Do I need permits?
Generator installs involve gas and electrical work that's permitted and inspected — we handle that paperwork as part of the job, which is one more reason to use a licensed contractor instead of a box-store drop-off.
Where will the unit go?
On a pad outside, like an AC condenser, placed to meet code clearances from windows, doors, and vents while staying close to your fuel source and panel. We pick the spot together at the assessment.
